Biman MD and Three Others Sent to Jail Over Child Domestic Worker Abuse

On Monday afternoon, Metropolitan Magistrate Raju Ahmed passed the order following a legal hearing.

The other two accused sent to jail are domestic workers Rupali Khatun and Sufia Begum. According to police sources, the group was arrested early Sunday morning (February 1) from Dr. Rahman's residence in Uttara Sector 9. The arrests were made after the victim’s father, Mostafa, filed a formal complaint alleging inhuman physical abuse.

The investigation officer produced the suspects in court today, requesting they be detained in jail while the investigation continues. The court granted the request, marking a significant turn in this high-profile case.
