Against a total of 3,140 vacant posts, candidates were selected based on merit and their provided preferences. Out of 337,986 initial applicants, 254,561 appeared for the preliminary test. Following the preliminary stage, 21,397 candidates qualified for the written exam, and subsequently, 4,050 candidates faced the viva voce. A notable highlight of this BCS session was the implementation of the modern 'Circular Evaluation System,' which allowed the written results to be published in less than three months—a significant improvement over previous sessions.

The Health Cadre saw the highest number of recommendations, with 1,682 Assistant Surgeons and 16 Assistant Dental Surgeons selected. Other major recommendations include 920 for the Education Cadre, 274 for Administration, 80 for Police, and 10 for the Foreign Affairs Cadre. BPSC Chairman Professor Mobasser Monem hailed the record-speed processing as a major achievement in reducing the recruitment backlog.
