Nationwide Weather Forecast: Daytime Temperatures Likely to Rise

According to the latest forecast released on Wednesday morning, February 18, 2026, the weather is expected to remain predominantly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies.

The weather office noted that a sub-continental high-pressure ridge is currently situated over Bihar and its adjoining areas. Additionally, a low-pressure area located over the East Equatorial Indian Ocean and the adjoining South Bay of Bengal has moved westward and is currently maintaining its position. It is expected to move further in a west-northwest direction.

Temperature data reveals that the country's lowest temperature today was recorded at 11.5°C in Sreemangal, Moulvibazar, at 6:00 AM. Meanwhile, as daytime heat increases, the country's maximum temperature reached 32.5°C. With the winter chill fading, a warmer sensation is expected across the country during the day.
