Ending a long wait since 2011, Australia will return to Bangladesh for a white-ball series featuring three ODIs and three T20Is. Cricket Australia announced on Friday, April 17, 2026, that the tour will kick off with the ODI series on June 9 at Mirpur’s Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium, with subsequent matches on June 11 and 14.

Following the ODIs, the action will move to the Bir Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium for three T20Is on June 17, 19, and 21. While Australia holds a dominant record in previous ODI tours, Bangladesh will draw confidence from their historic 4-1 T20I series win over the Aussies back in 2021. This high-profile tour is expected to bring the cricket-frenzy nation to a standstill.
