The men in red and green took an early lead in the first half and maintained control throughout the opening period. The deadlock was broken in the 11th minute when Manik scored a clinical header off a precise cross from Morshed Ali. This early strike set the tone for the match, allowing Bangladesh to head into the tunnel at halftime with a deserved 1-0 advantage.

The Bangladeshi side displayed aggressive intent from the kick-off, creating several scoring opportunities. Just two minutes after the opening goal, US-based Ronan Benjamin Sullivan found the net, but the goal was unfortunately ruled out for offside. Another golden chance arose in the 21st minute when Nazmul’s header was miraculously saved by Nepali goalkeeper Pemba Norbu. Despite a narrow miss by Morshed Ali in the 38th minute, Bangladesh’s superior tactical play ensured they neutralized Nepal's threat and secured their spot in the grand finale.
