BCB Announces Schedule for Pakistan’s Bangladesh Tour
Pakistan will arrive in Dhaka on March 9, with March 10 reserved for practice or rest. The first ODI will be played on March 11, followed by the second and third matches on March 13 and 15 respectively.
All three matches will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, starting at 2:15 PM local time. The visiting side is scheduled to depart on March 16 after the conclusion of the series.
The series marks Bangladesh’s return to international cricket after more than three months. Their last assignment was in December against the Ireland national cricket team, followed by the Bangladesh Premier League.
Although Bangladesh were originally set to participate in a World Cup event in India, they withdrew citing security concerns. The International Cricket Council (ICC) later granted the spot to the Scotland national cricket team, resulting in an extended international break for the Tigers.
During this period, players remained active in domestic competition, including a three-team T20 tournament organized by the BCB, where Liton Das-led side defeated Najmul Hossain Shanto’s team in the final to lift the title.
