This third consecutive win at the Terdthai Cricket Ground in Bangkok ensures that Fahima Khatun’s side enters the semi-finals as the undefeated champions of Group B.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Bangladesh posted a challenging total of 151/7 in their allotted 20 overs. The innings was anchored by a stellar performance from Lata Mondal, who top-scored with a composed 48 off 44 balls, narrowly missing out on a half-century. Other vital contributions came from opener Sharmin Sultana (30), captain Fahima Khatun (29), and a late aggressive cameo by Sadia Akter, who smashed 19 off just 11 balls.

The Malaysian chase never found its rhythm as they were stifled by a relentless Bangladeshi bowling attack. Fatema Jahan was the standout performer with the ball, tearing through the top order to finish with exceptional figures of 3/10 from her four overs. Malaysia was eventually restricted to just 61/9, with Nur Arianna Natsya (22*) being the only batter to provide significant resistance. Lata Mondal added to her batting exploits with a clinical bowling spell, conceding only 2 runs in her two overs.

With a perfect record in the group stages, Bangladesh Women’s 'A' will now gear up for a high-voltage semi-final clash. They are set to face their arch-rivals, Pakistan Women’s 'A', who qualified as the runners-up from Group A.
