In a Facebook post on Tuesday (April 28), Rashed Khan characterized Fazlur Rahman as a "source of panic" for the opposition lawmakers, noting that his bold words finally brought some energy to the previously dull parliament sessions. Rashed satirically added that if there were a "profanity competition" in parliament, the opposition members would undoubtedly take the top prize.

The session turned chaotic as opposition members started shouting during Fazlur Rahman’s address, forcing Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed (Bir Bikrom) to intervene and restore order. Undeterred by the commotion, Fazlur Rahman asserted, "No member of a freedom fighter’s family can join Jamaat; doing so is a double offense." He also expressed deep sorrow over the comparison of the 1971 Liberation War with a month-long mass movement, stating that such comparisons diminish the magnitude of the nation's independence struggle.
