According to a press release issued by the party on Wednesday, the event is titled the "National Assembly of July Martyrs' Families and July Warriors." The rally is being organized to honor the contributors of the July movement and to address the current political landscape of the country.

Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Leader of the Opposition in the National Parliament, will attend the event as the chief guest. Top leaders from the 11-party electoral alliance led by Jamaat are also expected to participate in the assembly. This call for a national rally follows a series of recent demonstrations and marches in the capital where the alliance demanded the implementation of referendum results. Political analysts view this upcoming assembly as a significant move by the alliance to consolidate its political agenda and honor the legacy of the July movement.

Jamaat-e-Islami expressed hope that the current government and administration will take necessary steps to grant formal permission and ensure adequate security for the gathering. Party activists have already begun preparations across various parts of the capital to ensure a large turnout at Suhrawardy Udyan. The 11-party alliance plans to use this platform to reinforce their political demands and preserve the memory of those involved in the July movement. Such large-scale political mobilizations are a common feature of the democratic processes observed in major South Asian nations and are monitored by international observers and NATO-member states for regional stability.
