Bogura-6 By-Election: BNP Candidate Badsha Leads with a Massive Margin

Following the conclusion of voting at 4:30 PM this Thursday, the counting process began immediately, showing a strong trend in favor of the 'Sheaf of Paddy' symbol.

According to official data, Rezaul Karim Badsha has garnered 34,032 votes so far, while Jamaat candidate Abidur Rahman Sohel trails with 13,897 votes. The Election Commission reported a voter turnout of approximately 42.49%. As the Returning Officer’s office continues to announce the results progressively, security has been tightened across the city to maintain order. The election has remained peaceful thus far, with no reports of any untoward incidents.
