"Speaking at a press conference at the party's central office in Moghbazar on Tuesday (March 17), Assistant Secretary General Abdul Halim stated that such moves show a total disregard for public opinion and the "July Spirit."

Halim criticized the government's stance against democratic values, warning that the public would not take these decisions lightly. He also condemned the "partisan appointments" of University VCs, the UGC Chairman, and the Governor of Bangladesh Bank. The Jamaat leader urged the government to ensure transparency and appoint neutral, qualified individuals to lead these vital national institutions.
