Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Officially Recognized as Leader of the Opposition

The Bangladesh Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat issued a formal gazette notification on Thursday, March 12, 2026, confirming these appointments. The Speaker granted the recognition under Rule 2(1)(Ta) of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament and the Leader and Deputy Leader of the Opposition (Remuneration and Privileges) Act, 2021.
