Mirza Abbas to be Flown to Singapore for Advanced Treatment
He is scheduled to depart Dhaka via air ambulance at 6:00 PM today, Friday (March 13). Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP media cell, confirmed that following doctors' advice, the family has decided to admit him to the National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore.
Mirza Abbas was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka late Wednesday night after losing consciousness during Iftar. According to Shairul Kabir Khan, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is personally monitoring the situation and remains in close contact with both the medical team and the family. His condition necessitates immediate specialized care abroad, leading to the decision for a quick transfer to Singapore.
