Rashed Khan Warns: "Jamaat-NCP's Recklessness May Lead to AL’s Resurgence"
He warned that such legislative sabotage could inadvertently create a vacuum, allowing the ousted Awami League to stage a comeback.
In his social media post, Khan pointed out the irony of the current protest against President Mohammed Shahabuddin. He claimed that it was Jamaat-e-Islami that proposed the issuance of the "July National Charter Implementation Order" through this very President. Furthermore, he reminded that top advisors like Nahid Islam and Asif Mahmud gained their legitimacy by taking oaths of office under President Shahabuddin back on August 8, 2024. According to Khan, the interim government has also issued several ordinances under the President’s authority due to pressure from Jamaat and the NCP, thereby solidifying his constitutional validity at that time.
Rashed Khan further criticized the opposition's current stance, noting that while they now appear aggressive toward the Awami League, they maintained a "soft" position during the election period. He argued that by staging a walkout on the very first day of Parliament, Jamaat and the NCP are effectively rendering the institution dysfunctional. He concluded by warning that their current political missteps might force the BNP to pay the price for others' mistakes and cautioned that this ongoing chaos is exactly what the fallen fascist regime needs to reorganize and return to the political arena.
