BNP Delegation Holds Meeting with US Assistant Secretary of State Paul Kapoor

The 5-member BNP team was led by Standing Committee member Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan and included Barrister Naushad Zamir, Mahbubur Rahman, Naeba Yusuf, and Nipun Roy Chowdhury.

Following the discussion, Dr. Moyeen Khan highlighted the United States' role as a long-standing well-wisher of Bangladesh. He stated that the conversation focused on the current political landscape under the new government, future policy directions, and strengthening diplomatic and economic ties. When questioned about specific bilateral agreements, Dr. Khan noted that such matters are typically handled between the US and the current government, while their discussion centered more on mutual interests and international cooperation.
