Stop Extortion or Take Up Begging Bowls: Rafiqul Islam Khan

Speaking at an Iftar party in Ullapara on Tuesday (March 3), he suggested that instead of extorting money from drivers, one should rather sit with a begging bowl, as the public detests such crimes.

He emphasized that establishing Quranic laws and following the Prophet’s (SM) ideals are essential to ending extortion in the country. Highlighting workers' rights, Khan stated that ensuring fair wages—paid before the laborer’s sweat dries—is the only way to achieve true national progress. Local leaders of Jamaat and the Sramik Kalyan Foundation were also present at the event.
