Jamaat Warns of Massive Protest Programs If Attacks on Iran Do Not Stop
ATM Azharul Islam, the party's Nayeb-e-Ameer, issued this warning on Sunday (March 1) during a protest rally held at the North Gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, condemning the strikes on Iran and the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.
Addressing the rally, ATM Azhar stated that Israel would face severe economic consequences if global citizens resumed boycotting their products. He criticized the United Nations for acting as a puppet of powerful nations and urged the OIC to play a proactive role in protecting the interests of the Muslim world. He further warned that prolonged instability in the Middle East would lead to a surge in fuel and commodity prices, severely impacting the lives of ordinary people in Bangladesh and beyond. Recalling the 1979 Islamic Revolution, he called for unity against "imperialist forces" to ensure regional stability and democratic values.
