NCP Announces 10-Day Program; Vows to Resist Any Return to Fascism
On Thursday (February 26), NCP Senior Joint Convenors Sarwar Tushar and Ariful Islam Adeeb unveiled the schedule in Dhaka. During the event, Sarwar Tushar warned, "If BNP attempts to return to fascism, the people will resist them," adding that the government has no choice but to implement the referendum results.
As part of the celebrations, a grand assembly, Iftar Mahfil, and documentary screening will be held at Dhanmondi Abahani Club field on February 28. Prominent leaders, including NCP Convenor Nahid Islam and Maulana Mamunul Haq, are expected to attend. Following this, divisional Iftar programs will take place across the country—including Chittagong, Sylhet, and Khulna—from March 2 to March 14. Ariful Islam Adeeb also noted that the 11-party alliance remains positive about proposing the President's impeachment in the first session of Parliament.
