Speaking at the first anniversary of 'Jatiya Chhatrashakti' at the Krishibid Institution on Thursday (February 26), he lamented that students have been repeatedly betrayed throughout history despite their immense sacrifices.

Nahid criticized the government for failing to meet public aspirations regarding judicial transparency, constitutional reform, and economic stability. He expressed grave concern over the removal of International Crimes Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam, suggesting it undermines the justice process. Furthermore, he warned that if the environment for dissent in Parliament is stifled, the movement will return to the streets. He also urged the government to appoint a competent individual as the Governor of Bangladesh Bank to stop financial looting.
