Speaking to reporters after the Cabinet meeting on Thursday (February 26), Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani stated that strict legal actions would be taken against government officials and employees who fail to arrive at their offices on time.

Highlighting Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s commitment to punctuality, the Secretary noted that the PM consistently arrives at his office before 9:00 AM, often avoiding protocols and traveling early to prevent public suffering from traffic congestion.

This leadership by example has created a positive sense of accountability within the administration. Furthermore, it was announced that regular Cabinet meetings will now be held every Thursday. Addressing queries on administrative reshuffles, the Secretary described such changes as a routine part of governance.
