Nasir Urges Unity to Defend Liberation War Ideals

Speaking at a program at the TSC of University of Dhaka on February 19, he described the recent electoral gains of such groups as a warning sign and stressed the need for political preparedness.

He alleged that anti-independence elements are attempting to reorganize and urged party activists to strengthen their ideological commitment and organizational capacity.

While reaffirming Chhatra Dal’s commitment to constructive politics, he warned of strong resistance if any effort is made to undermine the spirit of the Liberation War. He also emphasized grassroots mobilization ahead of the next election.

Referring to party discipline, he noted that the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has instructed its leaders and activists to maintain patience and discipline, focusing on winning public trust rather than displaying power.

He further cautioned against misinformation and provocative campaigns aimed at creating instability, particularly through social media platforms.
