Tarique Rahman Meets Chormonai Pir at His Residence

On Monday (February 16), Tarique Rahman arrived at the Chormonai Pir's residence in Siddheshwari, Dhaka, around 7:15 PM, where he was warmly welcomed by Mufti Rezaul Karim.

Also present during the meeting were BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan.

On the Islami Andolon Bangladesh side, Deputy Amir Mufti Syed Mohammad Faizul Karim and Secretary General Maulana Yunus Ahmad were present.

Earlier, on Sunday (February 15) evening, Tarique Rahman visited the residence of Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, followed by a visit to the residence of National Citizens' Party (NCP) Convenor Nahid Islam.

Notably, BNP is on its way to form a government following the 13th National Parliamentary Election. The newly elected Members of Parliament will take their oath tomorrow (February 17) morning, followed by the swearing-in of the new Cabinet members in the afternoon.
