Tarique Rahman to Pay Courtesy Visit to Charmonai Pir
According to party sources, the meeting is set to take place at 7:00 pm on Monday (February 16) at the residence of Mufti Rezaul Karim.
On Sunday (February 15) evening, Tarique Rahman visited the residence of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and Convener of the National Citizens Party (NCP), Nahid Islam. They greeted him with flowers during the visit.
In the 13th parliamentary election held on Thursday (February 12), the BNP secured 209 out of 297 seats, achieving a single-party majority. With three additional seats won by its alliance partners, the BNP-led alliance now holds a total of 212 seats in parliament.
