He noted that the electoral environment remains favorable thus far, presenting a major opportunity for state reform if the polls are conducted fairly.

Mirza Fakhrul stated that the recent visit of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to Thakurgaon has generated immense enthusiasm among party activists and general voters, which he believes will have a positive impact on the polls. He expressed confidence that there is no scope for "election engineering" or fraud this time, expecting government officials to perform their duties with strict neutrality. He urged voters to cast their ballots fearlessly for their preferred candidates.

Regarding the electoral competition, the BNP Secretary General emphasized that the party does not underestimate any opponent. When asked about Jamaat-e-Islami’s campaign strategy, he remarked that while they are employing various tactical maneuvers and, in some instances, spreading misleading information, the BNP remains committed to constructive and positive politics. He concluded by asserting that the visible "wave" in favor of the 'Sheaf of Paddy' (Dhaner Sheer) ensures a victory for the people, and he sought the prayers and support of the voters as the candidate for the Thakurgaon-1 constituency.
