The accusations primarily target heavyweights from the Jatiya Party and the BNP, with local leaders claiming that cash, saris, and lungis are being distributed to influence voters during nocturnal door-to-door campaigns.

In Rangpur-3, Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader has been accused of hosting lavish feasts and distributing cash at his residence, while in Rangpur-4, similar complaints have been lodged against BNP’s Emdadul Huq Bharasa and Jatiya Party’s Mahbubur Rahman. NCP and Jamaat-e-Islami leaders expressed frustration over the administration's alleged inaction, claiming that despite numerous complaints about violations of the election code, a "level playing field" has yet to be established. Rangpur Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Enamul Ahsan has denied any bias, stating that executive magistrates and joint forces are actively monitoring the field and will take immediate action if specific evidence is provided.
