The march, organized by the party's women’s wing, began at the Falpatti intersection in Mirpur-10 at 10:30 AM. Thousands of women participated, carrying placards and chanting slogans in favor of the 'Scales' (Dhandir Palla) symbol.

The procession moved through the Mirpur-10 roundabout and concluded at Kazipara. During a pre-march rally, women leaders stated that Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has pledged to build a "humane Bangladesh" where the dignity and security of women would be a top priority. They argued that establishing a society based on justice and equity is the demand of the hour and urged voters to elect the Jamaat Ameer to represent the Dhaka-15 (Mirpur-Kafrul) area.

Addressing the gathering, leaders emphasized that Dr. Shafiqur Rahman represents the oppressed and deprived classes. They claimed that the victory of the Jamaat-led 11-party alliance would be a step toward a welfare state. Mobarak Hossain, a member of the Central Executive Council, spoke at the conclusion of the event, noting that the spontaneous participation of women reflects a widespread public desire for political change.

This rally is part of a series of intensified campaign activities by the Jamaat-e-Islami ahead of the national election scheduled for February 12. Earlier this week, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman inaugurated a digital campaign in the same area, where he promised to modernize Mirpur’s infrastructure, including its drainage and transport networks, if elected.
