BNP Cancels Feb 8 Rally; Tarique Rahman to Address Multiple Spots in Dhaka

Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced this decision during a press conference at the party's central office on Friday.

Instead of the central rally, the party has planned for Chairman Tarique Rahman to deliver electoral speeches at various locations across Dhaka North and South on February 8 and 9. The event also marked a significant political development as the newly elected VP of Jaksue, Abdur Rashid Jitu, along with several other student leaders, formally joined BNP and its student wing. Insiders suggest that this strategic shift aims to maximize public engagement in different parts of the capital during the final stages of the election campaign.
