He made these remarks as the chief guest at a campaign rally held on Thursday (February 5) at Boroghop in Kutubdia, Cox's Bazar, in support of the 11-party alliance candidate.

The Jamaat leader emphasized, "A fair election is crucial for the protection of the nation. If any rigging or conspiracy occurs, the people will resist it and will not accept it under any circumstances." He urged the government and the Election Commission to maintain strict neutrality and ensure a credible voting process.

Speaking as a special guest, Nahid Islam, Convener of the National Citizens' Party, warned that those involved in extortion and land grabbing after August 5 are emerging as the "new oppressors" of Bangladesh. He stated that February 12 is the day to stand against them. He further added that the people of Bangladesh would decide their own government, and no external interference or "dominance from Delhi" would be tolerated.

The rally was also addressed by the alliance candidate, AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad, and other central leaders. They called upon the public to vote for the 'Scales' (Daaripalla) symbol to contribute to the rebuilding of a reformed Bangladesh.
