Tarique Rahman’s Final Election Rally at Nayapaltan on February 8
The event is scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM in front of the party’s central office in Nayapaltan, Dhaka. Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi confirmed the program during a press conference held at Nayapaltan on Thursday afternoon.
Tarique Rahman, Chairman of the BNP, will be the chief guest at this rally, marking the end of his extensive nationwide election tour. The party leadership views this assembly as a final pre-election show of strength, with special instructions sent to all affiliate organizations to ensure a historic turnout from Dhaka and surrounding districts.
During the rally, Tarique Rahman is expected to elaborate on his widely discussed vision, 'The Plan,' and provide final directives to voters. There is significant anticipation regarding new announcements for the youth (Gen-Z), specifically focusing on employment, the IT sector, and modern educational reforms.
Furthermore, the BNP is set to officially unveil its election manifesto tomorrow, Friday, February 6, at 3:00 PM at Hotel Sonargaon. Party leaders indicated that the manifesto, centered on the 'Bangladesh First' principle, will present a comprehensive roadmap for the country’s future development.
The press conference was attended by high-ranking officials, including Mahdi Amin, Advisor to the Chairman; Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel, Joint Secretary General; and Rakibul Islam, President of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal.
