While addressing an election rally in Faridpur on Wednesday (February 4) ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election, he remarked that a certain group changes its colors to suit the circumstances. He warned the public about a renewed conspiracy, noting that the people have labeled those behind it as "Gupta" (hidden) for their shifting nature and arrogance toward the common man.

Addressing the locals, Rahman mentioned that for 17 years he heard about massive development from afar, yet candidates are still highlighting numerous unresolved issues. He promised that if the BNP forms the government, it will fulfill the popular demands of making Faridpur a City Corporation and a separate administrative division. He also outlined plans to prevent river erosion, revitalize the jute industry, and support maize farmers in the char areas. To solve the irrigation crisis during the dry season, he expressed the BNP's intent to construct the Padma Barrage.

Regarding the youth, the BNP leader stated that specific industries would be established based on the characteristics of each district to create employment for educated young people. Taking a dig at the leadership of the "Gupta" group, he said that the nation cannot expect anything good from those whose top leaders make derogatory remarks about women. He concluded by urging the people of Faridpur to remain vigilant against those who plot against the election and treat the public with contempt.
