The veteran leader alluded to offensive comments made by top leaders of certain parties regarding working women and condemned the smear campaigns aimed at him. “If you think bad-mouthing Mirza Abbas is the only way to stay in the limelight, know that there are many other ways to do good work and gain popularity,” he remarked. Referring to his opponent’s rhetoric, he added, “The people know that a stove mouth emits ashes, not gold.”

Abbas expressed deep concern over the electoral environment, suggesting that the behavior of "new candidates" points toward potential "election engineering." He issued strict instructions to party activists and polling agents, stating that activists must remain vigilant at polling stations on election day and polling agents must not leave their rooms without the result sheet signed by the Presiding Officer. He stated firmly that votes must be counted at the centers and will not be allowed to be moved elsewhere.

Following the meeting, Mirza Abbas conducted mass contact campaigns at Gulistan’s Patal Market and Stadium Market. He also met with traders at Baitul Mukarram after Zohr prayers, continuing his push for the upcoming February 12 national election.
