The meeting is scheduled for 12:00 PM at the Election Commission (EC) Secretariat. Led by BNP Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, the three-member delegation includes Ismail Zabiullah, a member of the BNP Chairperson's Advisory Council, and Senior Joint General Secretary Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi. Former Acting Secretary of the Election Commission, Dr. Mohammad Zakaria, is also expected to accompany the team.

The CEC’s office has confirmed the scheduled sit-down. According to sources within the party and the commission, the BNP is expected to present a formal set of demands and observations. Key topics on the agenda include the insurance of a "level playing field" for all parties, the withdrawal or stay of legal cases against party activists, and the overall law and order situation across various constituencies.

Political observers note that this visit carries significant weight, particularly following the final disqualification of heavyweight BNP candidate Monjurul Ahsan Munshi in the Cumilla-4 constituency earlier this morning.

The meeting will take place in the conference room of the Election Commission Secretariat. Following the discussions, the BNP delegation is expected to brief the media on the outcome of their talks.
