Speaking as the chief guest at an election rally at Laksam Stadium in Cumilla on Friday evening he promised to replace criminal extortion with honorable employment for those involved. Highlighting his refusal to leave the country despite facing intense persecution for over fifteen years he pledged to remain by the peoples side through all circumstances.

The Jamaat chief warned those who were previously oppressed not to become oppressors themselves stating that voters would teach them a lesson on the twelfth. He expressed his firm stance against dynastic politics and reiterated his commitment to making Noakhali a separate division describing it as a moral and faithful duty. Addressing recent online bullying regarding his meeting with martyrs families he condemned the lack of respect shown by some critics. He concluded by urging the media to maintain neutrality and refrain from supporting corruption in their reporting.
