He made these remarks as the chief guest at an election rally held at the Rangpur Town Hall premises on Thursday evening (January 29), ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the current electoral atmosphere, the Peer of Charmonai stated, "We have urged the interim government and the Election Commission to ensure a level playing field, but the current situation is disappointing. The government cannot avoid responsibility if a fair environment is not established." He also alleged that propaganda is being spread against the 'Hand Fan' (Hatpakha) symbol and expressed grave concern over the deteriorating law and order situation, citing an assault on female activists in Bhola, Barishal.

Promising a new era of governance, he added that the people of Bangladesh have not seen true welfare in the last 54 years. He assured that if Islami Andolan comes to power, it will eradicate corruption and ensure holistic development, particularly in the agricultural sector.
