Speaking at a massive rally held at the Brothers Club field in Motijheel, Dhaka, on Wednesday, January 28, Abbas declared that the BNP would not engage in disputes with opponents or fall into the trap of provocative actions.

Addressing the gathered supporters, Abbas stated, "Our victory is now on the horizon. We must remain vigilant to ensure that no one can obstruct this success. We must prove that BNP workers are disciplined and not chaotic." He alleged that a certain dishonest circle is conspiring to keep Bangladesh "enslaved" and asserted that the people would give a fitting response through their votes on February 12.

Expressing concern over attempts to tarnish the party’s image, Abbas remarked, "Those with no electoral experience are systematically spreading propaganda and attempting to insult the BNP. While there will be competition in the election, it must be conducted in a festive spirit."

He also voiced criticism toward a segment of the younger generation's political behavior, noting a lack of respect in their rhetoric. Despite the heated political atmosphere, he urged activists to demonstrate discipline to ensure the victory of the "Sheaf of Paddy" (Dhaner Shish). He concluded with confidence, stating that no other party would be able to withstand the BNP’s momentum on the electoral battlefield.
