During a street rally on Monday evening, he remarked that while speaking for hours outside the parliament may yield little result, a five-minute speech within the house can be turned into legislation. He emphasized that issues like money laundering and administrative reforms can be effectively addressed only through parliamentary action.

Mufti Fayzul Karim assured his supporters that if elected, he would not remain a silent observer but would actively speak for the oppressed, for national interests, and against corruption and terrorism. With the official support of Jamaat-e-Islami and Khelafat Majlis, he expressed strong confidence that the 'Hand Fan' symbol would win by a significant margin in Barishal-5.

Earlier in the day, he visited fire victims at the Shayestabad market, urging the authorities to provide immediate financial aid for the rehabilitation of affected businessmen. He also stressed the importance of strengthening fire safety measures in local markets and called for increased vigilance from the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
