He promised that if BNP is voted to power, the long-standing issue of river erosion in Hatia will be addressed through sustainable block dams. He also announced plans to introduce 'Family Cards' and 'Health Cards' to empower women and improve public welfare.

Formally introducing Mo. Mahbubur Rahman Shamim as the party’s candidate for the Noakhali-6 constituency, Tarique Rahman urged the locals to vote for the 'Sheaf of Paddy' symbol. He assured the crowd that Shamim would serve as a symbol of development for the region.
