Public Interest Prioritized in Tarique Rahman’s Meeting with Ambassadors

Political analysts view this meeting as highly significant ahead of the 13th National Parliamentary Election scheduled for February 12.

Following the meeting, BNP Joint Secretary General and member of the Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee, Humayun Kabir, told the media that there is currently widespread international interest in the BNP's future state philosophy, particularly that of Chairperson Tarique Rahman. He noted that Tarique Rahman's modern vision for the development of Bangladesh and the protection of national interests received great importance from the ambassadors. The discussions, held in a very cordial atmosphere, covered bilateral cooperation and various matters of national interest.

The BNP stated that the ambassadors were briefed on how diplomatic relations would be advanced based on the party’s '31-Point' charter if the BNP assumes state responsibility with the people's mandate. In response to a query, Humayun Kabir mentioned that while technical aspects of the election or specific countries were not discussed, the ambassadors expressed optimism regarding the upcoming elections. They hope that through this election, Bangladesh will enter a healthy and vibrant democratic journey. The meeting, attended by top BNP leaders and foreign diplomats, highlighted the roadmap for building a smart and democratic Bangladesh of the future.
