The event took place on Saturday evening, January 17, at the Katapitania Anandabazar in Ward 9 of Baldia Union. It was held during the formation of the election center committee for the BNP-nominated candidate, Ahmad Sohel Monjur Sumon.

The ceremony was presided over by Subhash Chandra Haldar and moderated by Md. Mohasin Reza, former Organizational Secretary of the Union Jubo Dal. Notable attendees included former Nesarabad Upazila BNP Organizational Secretary Md. Shahidul Islam Bahadur, Baldia Union BNP Convener Master Md. Enamul Huq Ratan, and former Joint Convener Md. Mahmudul Hasan Babu, among other local leaders.

Speaking on behalf of the newly joined members, Subhash Chandra Haldar said, "We have joined the BNP being inspired by the principles of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and Tarique Rahman. Our decision is driven by the commitment to rebuild Bangladesh through the 31-point reform outline announced by Tarique Rahman."

Baldia Union BNP Convener Master Md. Enamul Huq Ratan noted that the Hindu community constitutes a significant portion of the voters in Nesarabad Upazila. He remarked that their formal affiliation with the BNP sends a positive message for democratic politics.

Md. Azharul Islam Tutul added, "The BNP believes in politics for all people, regardless of religion or caste. The 31 points declared under the leadership of Tarique Rahman have become a charter of freedom for the people of this country."
