50 Seats Reserved for Islami Andolan as Jamat-Khelafat Alliance Set to Announce Candidates

Following a high-level meeting at the Jamaat office in Maghbazar on Thursday, Maulana Mamunul Haque, Amir of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, expressed optimism about a unified front.

Maulana Haque confirmed that discussions involved 10 political parties and that ongoing dialogues are being held with Islami Andolan. The alliance plans to officially announce its list of 250 candidates tonight at the Diploma Engineers' Institute. However, it was clarified that if Islami Andolan decides not to join the coalition, the alliance will eventually field its own candidates for the 50 reserved seats as well.
