Govt Determined to Ensure Seamless Road Connectivity: PM Tarique Rahman

 He emphasized that roads that have long been neglected or are in dilapidated conditions must be prioritized for immediate renovation and repair. These directives were issued during a high-level meeting held at the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat on Tuesday.

The meeting specifically reviewed the progress and challenges of various development projects under the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) in Pirojpur district. The Prime Minister urged officials to take swift action to repair Pirojpur’s roads to alleviate the suffering of the local residents. He stressed the importance of transparency and accountability in executing these development activities. The meeting was attended by State Minister for Local Government Mir Shah Alam, State Minister for Public Works Ahmed Sohel Monjur, MPs Masum Saydee and Ruhul Amin Dulal, along with other senior officials.
