The Foreign Minister highlighted that during a potential visit to China, the "Teesta Mega Plan" remains a high-priority agenda for the government. "We are focusing on regional development and strategic stability as the core of our foreign policy," Dr. Khalilur Rahman stated.

Diplomatic Invitation and Strategic Goals The Foreign Minister also revealed that he has received a formal invitation from his Chinese counterpart to visit Beijing. He plans to travel to China soon to discuss various issues of mutual interest, aiming to elevate the friendship between the two nations to new heights. These diplomatic moves are seen as a reflection of the current government's commitment to regional cooperation and infrastructure development.

Stern Warning on Border Issues Addressing a query regarding the shifting political landscape in West Bengal and potential border tensions, Dr. Khalilur Rahman issued a sharp warning. He stated that the government is closely monitoring the situation across the border.

"If any 'push-in' attempts occur following the political transition in West Bengal, the government will not remain a silent spectator," the Foreign Minister asserted. He warned that Bangladesh would take "appropriate and stern retaliatory measures" against such incidents. He assured the public that the government remains highly vigilant in protecting national sovereignty and ensuring the security of its citizens.
