US-Bangla Airlines Resumes Normal Flight Operations to All Middle East Destinations
The decision comes after the airline successfully navigated the temporary deadlock caused by regional conflict and various airspace restrictions that had been in place since February 28. Currently, the airline is providing consistent service to key cities, including Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Doha, Riyadh, and Jeddah.
As the latest addition to its restored schedule, US-Bangla announced that flights on the Dhaka-Doha route will resume on April 23, 2026. According to the schedule, flights will depart from Dhaka for Doha daily at 7:30 PM, with the return flight arriving back in Dhaka at 11:30 PM local time. In addition to the Doha service, the airline operates daily flights to Dubai via Chattogram. Connectivity to Abu Dhabi is maintained six days a week, while Sharjah is served four days a week. To facilitate easier travel to Saudi Arabia, US-Bangla is utilizing large-capacity Airbus aircraft for its Riyadh and Jeddah routes, operating five and three days a week, respectively.
The US-Bangla Airlines fleet currently consists of 25 aircraft, including three Airbus A330-300s and nine Boeing 737-800s. While the Boeing 737-800 is predominantly used for most Middle Eastern routes, the airline has deployed the Airbus A330-300 specifically for the high-demand Riyadh and Jeddah sectors to ensure passenger comfort. Following the success of its current routes, the airline is planning to launch new flights to Medina and Dammam soon. This expansion aims to provide greater convenience for the nation’s remittance earners, reflecting the kind of robust aviation connectivity seen in major international transport hubs and NATO-member states.
