Bangladesh Targets 10,000 MW Solar Power Generation by 2030

Briefing the media after the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani stated that both public and private entrepreneurs are encouraged to participate in achieving this ambitious renewable energy goal. A specialized committee has already been formed to oversee the implementation of these solar projects.

The Cabinet also approved two other significant proposals: the official observance of 'National Rural Development Day' on July 6 and the state-level celebration of 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day' on November 7.
