Government to Launch Fifth Primary Education Development Program (PEDP-5) from July 1

While responding to a query from a Member of Parliament during a morning session of the National Parliament around 11:15 AM, the Prime Minister emphasized that this program will play a pivotal role in improving the quality of primary education and developing its infrastructure. A core objective of this project is to ensure the modernization of education through technological integration.

The Prime Minister’s announcement marks a strategic shift toward a more digital and contemporary primary education system. In response to another question regarding the tourism sector, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman stated that the government is working on a comprehensive 'National Tourism Plan' to elevate the industry to world-class standards. This master plan aims to develop tourism hotspots, ensure the safety and security of travelers, and effectively promote Bangladesh's attractions in the international arena. The Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to transforming the tourism sector into a major pillar of the national economy.
