PM Tarique Rahman Distributes ‘Farmer Cards’ in Tangail on Pohela Boishakh

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman reached Tangail’s Shahid Maruf Stadium at approximately 11:30 AM today, April 14, 2026. During this significant visit, the Prime Minister is set to distribute 'Farmer Cards' to the inhabitants of Suruj in Tangail Sadar.

According to government officials, these digital cards are designed to streamline the distribution of agricultural incentives, subsidies, and state support directly to the farmers. Accompanied by his advisor and BNP Senior Joint-Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the PM’s visit is guarded by a rigorous four-tier security system across the city. The Prime Minister departed from his Gulshan residence in Dhaka earlier this morning at 9:30 AM to mark this New Year initiative for the nation's farming community.
