In his message, the Prime Minister described the festival as a unique symbol of our national history, culture, and heritage. He emphasized that the New Year arrives as a call for renewal, inspiring us to leave behind the weariness of the past and march forward with newfound vigor.

The Prime Minister highlighted the profound connection between Pahela Baishakh and the region's agricultural and economic life. Even in this era of advanced information technology, farmers continue to synchronize their harvest cycles with the rhythms of nature. Traditions like Baishakhi fairs, processions, and Halkhata rejuvenate our millennium-old folk culture and strengthen our sense of unity. He noted that the rebirth of nature and the optimism within human hearts combine to create a vibrant and festive atmosphere during this season.

Furthermore, he remarked that the new democratic government, formed after 15 years of political transition, is actively working to improve the quality of life for all citizens. As part of their electoral promises, initiatives such as Family Cards and canal excavation projects have already been launched. Notably, on the first day of the New Year, the 'Farmer Card' distribution program was inaugurated to revolutionize the rural economy. The Prime Minister concluded by expressing hope that social harmony, tolerance, and democratic values would flourish in the coming year, bringing peace and prosperity to every household.
