PM Tarique Rahman Directs BNP Activists to Assist Law Enforcement in Maintaining Peace

He issued these directives on Sunday (April 12) following the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected Members of Parliament for Bogra-6 and Sherpur-3 constituencies at the National Parliament Secretariat. The Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary, Atiqur Rahman Rumon, confirmed the statement.

The Prime Minister urged party members to work alongside law enforcement to prevent any activities that might disrupt public order. "Do not take the law into your own hands," he warned, emphasizing that any suspicious or harmful activities should be reported immediately to the authorities. He further stressed that regional development and the protection of citizens must be prioritized at any cost to build a stable and prosperous nation.
