In an official message, the Prime Minister detailed plans to expand quality medical care, maternal and child health services, and preventive healthcare across both urban and rural areas. To achieve these objectives, the government intends to gradually allocate 5% of the GDP to the health sector. Key initiatives include the phased recruitment of 100,000 healthcare workers—with an 80% focus on women—the introduction of e-health cards for all citizens, and the implementation of health insurance and PPP models to ensure affordable, high-quality treatment for complex diseases.

Emphasizing the "One Health" approach, the Prime Minister highlighted the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental well-being. Under this year’s theme, "Science in Healthcare, Protecting All Lives," he stressed the necessity of integrating medical, agricultural, and environmental sciences through sustainable research and technology. He further advocated for the adoption of cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to provide equitable healthcare to marginalized populations. Defining healthcare as a fundamental human right rather than a privilege, the Prime Minister called for collective sincerity and dedication to build a healthier and more resilient nation.
