In response to the escalating situation, DGHS has initiated coordinated measures to contain the spread. Director (Hospitals and Clinics) Abu Hossain MD Moinul Ahsan stated that specialized measles wards have been established in medical colleges across eight divisional cities, as well as several key hospitals in Dhaka, including Mugda, Suhrawardy, and the DNCC infectious disease hospital.

While official records show 678 confirmed cases as of March 28, hospital reports suggest the actual number of infections could be significantly higher. Health authorities are urging citizens to remain vigilant and ensure vaccinations to prevent further fatalities.
